Official Merit List Announcement: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the Combined Graduate Level (Tier-1) Examination 2026 Results along with post-wise and category-wise cut-off marks. Over 1,20,000 candidates have qualified to appear for the CGL Tier-2 descriptive and computer examination. The official PDF containing roll numbers of qualified candidates is now available on ssc.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
| Tier-2 Admit Card Timeline | Shortlisted candidates will be issued Tier-2 E-Admit Cards approximately one week prior to the exam on respective regional SSC websites. |
| Marks Verification | Marks of qualified and non-qualified candidates will be hosted on the official SSC website using candidate registered registration number and password. |
Pay Scale & Allowances
Final merit allocation following Tier-2 will assign candidates to Grade Pay levels ranging from Level-4 (Rs. 25,500) to Level-8 (Rs. 47,600) across central ministries, CBI, IB, and CAG.
Selection Process & Examination Pattern
- Tier-1 Result Normalization: Formula-based normalization applied across multi-day shifts to determine fair qualifying thresholds.
- Upcoming Tier-2 Examination: Paper I (Compulsory for all posts: Mathematical Abilities, Reasoning, English, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge) and Paper II/III for specialized cadres.

- Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission at
ssc.gov.in. - Navigate to the “Results” tab on the top menu and select “CGL”.
- Click on the result link: “Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier 1) 2026 – List of Candidates Qualified for Tier 2”.
- Download the official Result PDF to your device.
- Use Ctrl+F (Find) and search using your 10-digit Roll Number or Candidate Name.
- Save and take a printout of the selection page for verification in subsequent recruitment stages.
