Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
| AG-III (General & Depot) | Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with proficiency in use of computers. |
| AG-III (Technical) | B.Sc in Agriculture / Botany / Zoology / Bio-Technology / Food Science OR B.Tech in Food Science / Agricultural Engineering. |
| AG-III (Accounts) | Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized University with computer proficiency. |
| Age Requirements | 18 to 28 years (AG-III) and 18 to 28 years (JE) as on cutoff date. Standard relaxations: 5 yrs SC/ST, 3 yrs OBC. |
Pay Scale & Allowances
Selected candidates are inducted at IDA pay scales: Assistant Grade III candidates start at basic pay Rs. 28,200/- with gross earnings around Rs. 42,000/- per month including IDA dearness relief, cafeteria allowances, medical coverage, contributory provident fund, and gratuity benefits.
Selection Process & Examination Pattern
- Phase I: Preliminary Online Exam: 100 MCQs for 100 marks in 60 minutes (English, Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General Studies). Common for all posts and qualifying in nature.
- Phase II: Main Online Exam: Paper-I (120 marks) for General/Depot; Paper-I + Paper-II (Technical subject-specific 60 marks) for Technical/Accounts/JE cadres.
- Phase III: Document Verification & Medical: Scrutiny of original educational credentials, category certificates, and medical fitness assessment.
How to Apply Online
- Visit the FCI recruitment gateway at
fci.gov.inand choose “Current Recruitments”. - Select “Category III Recruitment 2026” and click on “Apply Online”.
- Register by providing Name, Email address, and Mobile Number.
- Choose your applying Zone (Candidate can apply only in ONE Zone).
- Upload passport photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and hand-written declaration.
- Pay application fee (Rs. 500 for General/OBC; Exempted for SC/ST/PwBD/Women) through online gateway.
- Submit the final form and print a copy of the filled registration summary.
