Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
| Educational Criteria | B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute OR Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) with 2 years’ experience in minimum 50 bedded Hospital. |
| Registration | Registered as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council. |
| Age Window | 18 to 30 years as of closing date. Standard central govt age concessions apply for SC/ST/OBC/PwD. |
Pay Scale & Allowances
Selected Nursing Officers are appointed in Level 07 in the Pay Matrix with initial basic pay of Rs. 44,900/- (Pre-revised PB-2 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600). Total monthly emoluments approximate Rs. 78,000/- plus Nursing Allowance, Uniform Allowance, DA, and HRA.
Selection Process & Examination Pattern
- Stage I: NORCET Preliminary: 100 MCQs (80 Nursing domain, 20 General Knowledge & Aptitude) in 90 minutes. Qualifying test for Stage II.
- Stage II: NORCET Mains: 100 Clinical scenario-based MCQs in 90 minutes. Merit for seat allocation is strictly based on Stage II marks.
- Stage III: Institute Allocation & DV: Online choice filling and document verification at allotted AIIMS.
