Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

Pay Scale & Allowances
Qualified candidates become eligible to apply for 7th CPC Level-6 (Pay Scale Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400) and Level-7 (Pay Scale Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400) regular teaching appointments in Central and State Government schools.
Selection Process & Examination Pattern
- Paper-I Examination (150 MCQs / 150 Marks): Child Development & Pedagogy, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Language I, Language II.
- Paper-II Examination (150 MCQs / 150 Marks): Child Development & Pedagogy, Mathematics & Science OR Social Studies/Social Science, Language I, Language II.
- Qualifying Benchmark: Candidates scoring 60% and above (90 out of 150 for General; 82 out of 150 for OBC/SC/ST) are awarded the CTET Certificate.
