Delhi Education Notification: The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has published notification 08/2026 announcing 4,214 teaching vacancies for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) and Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) under the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
| TGT Qualifications | Bachelor’s Degree in relevant school subject with at least 45% aggregate marks, Degree/Diploma in Training Education (B.Ed), and valid CTET Paper-II qualification from CBSE. |
| PGT Qualifications | Master’s Degree in relevant discipline with Degree/Diploma in Education (B.Ed). CTET is not required for PGT posts. |
| Age Restrictions | TGT: Below 30 years; PGT: Below 36 years. Female candidates for TGT enjoy age relaxation up to 40 years as per DoE rules. |
Pay Scale & Allowances
TGTs are placed in Level 7 with initial basic pay of Rs. 44,900/- (Gross monthly approx Rs. 75,000/- in Delhi). PGTs start in Level 8 with initial basic pay of Rs. 47,600/- (Gross monthly approx Rs. 82,000/- in Delhi) along with DA, transport allowance, and Delhi medical health scheme benefits.
Selection Process & Examination Pattern
- One-Tier Examination (General + Subject): 200 Questions, 200 Marks for TGT (300 marks for PGT) covering General Awareness, Mental Ability, Arithmetic, English, Hindi, and Subject Pedagogy/Domain.
- Document Verification (DV): Scrutiny of original CTET certificates, degrees, caste certificates, and Delhi OBC certificates.
How to Apply Online
- Visit the DSSSB Online Application Registration System (OARS) at
dsssbonline.nic.in. - Register your 10th roll number, year of passing, and Aadhaar card details.
- Log into your account and select Post Code under Advertisement 08/2026.
- Enter academic records, CTET marksheet details, and B.Ed credentials.
- Upload postcard-sized photograph, signature, and left/right thumb impressions.
- Pay examination fee of Rs. 100/- through SBI e-pay (Women/SC/ST/PwD candidates exempted).
- Submit form and download the PDF acknowledgment.
