Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
| Female Staff Nurse | B.Sc (Hons.) in Nursing / Regular B.Sc Nursing OR Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with registered Nurse/Midwife in State Nursing Council + 2.5 years experience in minimum 50-bedded hospital. Age: Up to 35 years. |
| Junior Secretariat Assistant | Senior Secondary (10+2) with minimum typing speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi. Age: 18 to 27 years. |
| Electrician cum Plumber / Mess Helper | 10th Class pass with ITI certificate in Electrician/Wireman and 2 years experience. Mess Helper: 10th pass with 5 years experience in school hostel mess. |
Pay Scale & Allowances
Female Staff Nurse starts at Level 7 (Basic Rs. 44,900 – gross ~Rs. 72,000/- monthly). Junior Secretariat Assistant is placed in Level 2 (Basic Rs. 19,900 – gross ~Rs. 36,000/- monthly). Mess Helper and Lab Attendant receive Level 1 benefits plus free boarding and lodging in residential JNV campuses.
Selection Process & Examination Pattern
- Computer Based Test (CBT): 120-130 objective questions assessing Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Language Competency (Hindi & English), and Domain Knowledge.
- Skill Test / Typing Test: Typing test for JSA and trade skill test for Electrician cum Plumber (Qualifying only).
- Document Verification: Scrutiny of educational and category certificates at NVS regional centres.
