Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
| Primary Teacher (PRT) | Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) OR 4-year B.El.Ed. Must have qualified CTET Paper-I. Age: Max 30 years. |
| Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) | Four years Integrated degree course with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject OR Bachelor’s Degree with B.Ed. Must have qualified CTET Paper-II. Age: Max 35 years. |
| Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) | Two-year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc./M.A. Course with at least 50% marks in aggregate in relevant discipline plus B.Ed. Age: Max 40 years. |
| Women Age Concession | General 10-year age relaxation granted to all women candidates applying for PGT, TGT, and PRT posts. |
Pay Scale & Allowances
PRT teachers receive starting basic pay of Rs. 35,400/- (Pay Level-6) with gross starting salary of approx. Rs. 58,000/-. TGT teachers receive basic pay of Rs. 44,900/- (Pay Level-7) with gross starting salary of approx. Rs. 71,000/-. PGT teachers receive basic pay of Rs. 47,600/- (Pay Level-8) with gross starting salary of approx. Rs. 76,000/- per month including Central DA, HRA, and medical reimbursement under CGHS.
Selection Process & Examination Pattern
- Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT – 180 Marks): 180 Objective Questions in 180 minutes. Part I: Proficiency in Languages (20 Qs). Part II: General Awareness, Reasoning & Computer Literacy (20 Qs). Part III: Perspectives on Education and Leadership (40-60 Qs). Part IV: Subject Specific Syllabus (80-100 Qs).
- Stage 2: Professional Competency & Class Demo (60 Marks): Classroom Teaching Demonstration (30 Marks) + Personal Interview (30 Marks). Final merit weightage is 70:30 (CBT : Demo & Interview).

- Complete candidate registration and enter valid CTET Roll Number.
- Upload recent passport photograph and signature.
- Pay examination fee (Rs. 1,500/- for PGT/TGT/PRT; SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen are exempt).
- Submit and print the application confirmation slip.
