Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
| Academic Qualifications | Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent recognized institution. Final year students are eligible to apply provisionally. |
| Age Criteria | 21 to 35 years as on the closing date of application. Upper age relaxation of 5 years is granted to APST candidates as per state government rules. |
| Domicile & Registration | Candidates must possess valid PRC / APST certificate where applicable and complete mandatory OTR profile at appsc.gov.in. |
Pay Scale & Allowances
State administrative officers in APCS receive Level 10 basic salary of Rs. 56,100 with special duty allowances, DA, government accommodation entitlement, and full state healthcare coverage.
Selection Process & Examination Pattern
- Preliminary Examination (Objective): General Studies Paper I (100 marks) & Paper II CSAT (100 marks) qualifying in nature with 33% cutoff.
- Main Examination (Descriptive Written): Compulsory papers in General English (300 marks), Essay (300 marks), and 4 General Studies papers (300 marks each).
- Personality Test (Interview): 275 marks viva-voce evaluating administrative aptitude, leadership, and suitability for high state office.

appsc.gov.in. - Complete One Time Registration (OTR) with personal, educational, and communication details.
- Upload required identity proofs, caste/APST certificate, signature, and passport-size photo.
- Log in to your profile and click on “Apply” under APPSCCE 2026 Examination.
- Pay the examination fee online (Rs. 150 for APST; Rs. 200 for General applicants).
- Submit the application before October 20, 2026 (5:00 PM) and print the registration confirmation.
