Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
| Engineering Disciplines | B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) in relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD). |
| Systems / IT Discipline | B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT or MCA with minimum 60% marks. |
| Age Limit | Maximum 30 years as of closing date. Upper age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST applies. |
Pay Scale & Allowances
During 1-year training, candidates receive starting basic pay of Rs. 50,000/- per month in E-2 Scale (Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000). On regularisation into E-3 Grade as Assistant Manager, pay scale advances to Rs. 60,000 – 1,80,000. Total Cost to Company (CTC) is approx. Rs. 18.05 Lakhs per annum, including performance related pay (PRP), medical benefits, and township accommodation.
Selection Process & Examination Pattern
- Computer Based Test (CBT): Paper I: General Knowledge, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, English (100 Marks). Paper II: Professional / Discipline Knowledge (100 Marks).
- Document Verification: Physical verification of original degrees, reservation certificates, and identity credentials.
- Initial Medical Examination (IME): Medical fitness assessment in designated CIL subsidiary hospitals.
