Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
| Academic Qualification | B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent in relevant branch with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10 from an AICTE/UGC recognized university. |
| Age Threshold | Maximum 28 years as of October 5, 2026. Age relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and up to 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities. |

Pay Scale & Allowances
Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix with a starting basic pay of Rs. 56,100/- per month. Along with basic pay, officers are entitled to Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, CHSS (Contributory Health Service Scheme) medical benefits for family, subsidised canteen, PRIS (Performance Related Incentive Scheme), and residential quarters at ISRO centers. Gross starting pay exceeds Rs. 1,02,000/- per month.
Selection Process & Examination Pattern
- Part A: Written Test (Discipline Specific): 80 MCQs based on core engineering syllabus (GATE standard) for 80 marks. 1/3rd negative marking per wrong response.
- Part B: Aptitude & Reasoning Test: 15 Multiple Choice Questions testing Numerical Reasoning, Logical Deduction, and Diagrammatic Reasoning for 20 marks.
- Personal Interview: Candidates shortlisted at 1:5 ratio based on written score attend an in-depth technical interview. Final selection is based on 50% written test weightage and 50% interview weightage.
