Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Notification: IBPS has announced the Common Recruitment Process (CRP PO/MT-XIV) for the recruitment of 3,955 Probationary Officers / Management Trainees across 11 participating Public Sector Banks including PNB, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, and Union Bank of India.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
| Educational Qualification | A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India, or any equivalent qualification recognized by Central Government. Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory. |
| Age Requirements | 20 to 30 years as of August 1, 2026 (born not earlier than 02-08-1996 and not later than 01-08-2006). Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, 10 years for PwBD. |
| Citizenship | Citizen of India, subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st Jan 1962. |
Pay Scale & Allowances
IBPS PO Scale-I officers receive an initial basic pay of Rs. 36,000/- in the scale of Rs. 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840. Along with basic pay, officers are entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA / leased accommodation up to Rs. 29,000/- in Metro cities), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), Special Allowance, medical benefits, and concessional loans. Total gross starting remuneration ranges from Rs. 58,000/- to Rs. 65,000/- per month.
Selection Process & Examination Pattern
- Phase I: Online Preliminary Examination: 100 Objective Questions for 100 Marks (English Language 30 Qs, Quantitative Aptitude 35 Qs, Reasoning Ability 35 Qs). Sectional duration: 20 minutes each (1 hour total). Negative marking of 0.25 marks.
- Phase II: Online Main Examination: 155 Objective Questions for 200 Marks (3 hours) + Descriptive Test (Letter Writing & Essay, 25 Marks, 30 minutes). Tests Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General Economy/Banking Awareness, English, and Data Analysis.
- Phase III: Common Interview: Conducted by Participating Organizations and coordinated by IBPS for 100 marks. Minimum qualifying score is 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD). Combined weightage ratio of Main Exam and Interview is 80:20.

ibps.in. - Click on ‘CRP PO/MT’ on the homepage and select ‘Common Recruitment Process for Probationary Officers/Management Trainees XIV’.
- Click ‘Click here for New Registration’ and enter candidate basic details.
- Upload digital photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration as per specification.
- Fill in educational details and indicate preference order for all 11 participating banks.
- Pay the online application fee (Rs. 850/- for General/OBC/EWS; Rs. 175/- for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Submit the application and download the registration slip and e-receipt.
