Pay Scale & Allowances
IBPS Specialist Officers Scale I are appointed under the revised 12th Bipartite wage structure starting at basic pay of Rs. 48,480/- with grade pay and allowances. Monthly gross remuneration exceeds Rs. 80,000/- including Dearness Allowance (DA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) or leased quarters, concessional loans, and medical reimbursements.
Selection Process & Examination Pattern
- Online Preliminary Examination: 150 Questions (125 Marks, 120 mins) testing Reasoning, English Language, and Quantitative Aptitude / General Awareness (with Special Reference to Banking).
- Online Main Examination: Professional Knowledge test (60 questions, 60 marks, 45 mins) in relevant domain (Descriptive test included for Rajbhasha Adhikari).
- Common Personal Interview: 100 marks personal interview conducted by Participating Banks and coordinated by IBPS. Qualifying score: 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
