Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

Educational Criteria Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics and English conducted by any recognized Board of School Education.
Compulsory Knowledge Candidate must have studied the local language at least up to 10th standard and have knowledge of cycling.
Age Limits 18 to 40 years as on the closing date. Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD candidates.

Pay Scale & Allowances

Emoluments are in the form of Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA). BPM receives Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 29,380 for 4 hours/day, plus DA and annual increments. ABPM/Dak Sevak receives Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 24,470.

Selection Process & Examination Pattern

  1. Merit List Preparation: Generated automatically based on the system-calculated percentage of marks obtained in Class 10th secondary examinations.
  2. Document Verification (Round 1): Physical verification of original mark sheets, caste certificates, and identity cards before the Divisional Head.
  3. Final Engagement & Training: Completion of formal postal operations training and issuance of engagement letters.

How to Apply Online

  2. Register afresh for Schedule-II 2026 by providing valid mobile number, email, and 10th board details.
  3. Log in using registration number and select your preferred postal circle and division.
  4. Upload scanned 10th marksheet, caste certificate, photograph (max 50kb), and signature (max 20kb).
  5. Fill circle and post preferences in order of choice.
  6. Pay application fee of Rs. 100 online (all female, SC/ST, PwBD candidates are exempted).
  7. Submit the application and print the final acknowledgment receipt.
