Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
| Educational Criteria | Recognized Post Graduate Degree / MBBS with relevant post-graduate specialization, or Master’s Degree in relevant scientific/engineering discipline from a recognized University. |
| Experience Requirements | Minimum 1 to 3 years relevant experience in the specialized subject area as specified in the detailed post-wise annexure. |
| Age Criteria | Maximum 35 to 40 years as on closing date. Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, up to 10 years for PwBD. |
Pay Scale & Allowances
Central Gazetted officers receive 7th CPC Level 10 (Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500) or Level 11 (Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700) with Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) for medical cadres, Central DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, and official accommodation entitlements.
Selection Process & Examination Pattern
- Scrutiny of Online Applications: Applications scrutinized by the Commission based on educational qualifications, experience, and category certificates.
- Recruitment Test (RT): Conducted if the number of eligible applicants is significantly high to shortlist candidates for interview.
- Interview by UPSC Board: 100 marks personality assessment (UR/EWS minimum 50 marks, OBC 45 marks, SC/ST/PwBD 40 marks).
